The Gift Of Anger!

There seems to be an abundance of people who do not respect boundaries and when a boundary is clearly defined they still walk all over the rights of other people.
So, even setting a boundary is not effective because they have a sense of self entitlement to their needs and not others needs. They use your things without asking and even get offended if they do ask and you say no. Their ability to nurture and care for others is very slim.

They try and take over, your space, the conversation and indeed your life if they can. In their minds, they always know better than anyone else. What you think is not an issue to them, it is all about what they think.
They will be constantly correcting and pointing out to you how you are wrong and they are right...and make no mistake about it, they are always right!
The normal courtesies and mutual respect for other people simply do not apply to them.
Being clear about what you will and will not tolerate goes right over their heads.
After a time, you will be forced to make a decision in finding other ways to enforce your boundaries that are stronger because these people in many cases just don't care what you think and want. It is all about them and no one else.
If you are normally a person of peace who tries all the spiritual methods of dealing with a person like this, it can be a real challenge to step out of the spiritual mind for a bit and deal with this from an entirely different level.

These people do not make friends, they take hostages. The hostage will eventually rebel and walk away and have nothing more to do with them.
If you have someone like this in your life that is in your inner circle of family , friends, etc., You have probably put up with this for a longer time than most, trying everything you could think of to make the relationship work to no avail. You have even nicely let them have it more than once and maybe things changed for a bit but went right back to the status quo.

Here you are in the thick of it and and stomach is churning and you feel yourself on edge, I have a suggestion for you...allow yourself to get angry! Yep. you heard me right, get royally pissed because you have a right to be upset. Even what we people on the spiritual path would normally call a negative emotion, can be a gift if you look at it in a new light. This emotion is clearly telling us there is something we must change something and pay attention to and at that point it becomes all about you and not them.

I am not advocating throwing dishes or getting weapons of mass destruction out, what I am saying is to express the anger and let it rip out into the atmosphere. Express it. Holding it in is simply not good. It is said...and I believe it to be true that depression is nothing more than anger turned inward. I advocate speaking your truth but doing it in the right way and there are times when speaking our truth just might be verbal expression of anger. Imagine for a moment that the person in question is standing right in front of you and you suddenly, loudly and forcefully say, "NO!" Now, you have to admit just the thought of that felt good. Consider that you said it three times quickly and forcefully. It will be so quiet that you will hear a pin drop after you verbalize what is in your heart and energy field. Just saying that word is empowering. For me I have found it very effective and I will not ignore my anger. It is truly a gift.

In whatever context that someone is not respecting you in any way and you feel angry, pay close attention and remember you cannot change any one else, you can only change yourself! When you start learning new ways to be in this world, you have the support of God and the entire force of the universe assisting you in making changes.

Prayer for today...October 12th, 2011

Eyes, open wide to let in all the beauty and light that is ever there.
Let me not be blind to what is before me.

Ears, tune in to hear all the delightful sounds of life.
Let me not tune out all the wonder of sound.

Tongue, taste all the richness of food and drink that sustains me.
Let me remember to give thanks for my body that needs to be fed.

Hands, reach out to hold and comfort another and lift up.
Let me not hold back from touching another.

Mouth, let me speak from a responsible compassionate place.
Let me not utter words that are negative and have dull energy.

Heart, let me be free and live in the now with God.
Let me forgive and be my highest and best self.

Feet, let me go to places not known and explore my world.
Let me stand on sea and land and drink in the energy.

Soul, let me acknowledge and understand forgiveness.
Let me be free of human constraints and ego.

God, let me be with you now.
Let me do all that I can to acknowledge you and invite you in.

And so it is!

Okay, here is the deal. Go look in a mirror right now and really see yourself and even if you don't believe that it is true say to yourself...

Don't allow the thought of, this is silly, keep you from doing it.
That is just ego talking. That is you talking.
Now talk the new talk...
Miracles will start to unfold if you do this every single day.

How you start the day is usually how the day will end.

There will be people who agree and disagree with you, like you or not like you, want to be around you or will shun you, think you're wonderful or awful. No matter what people may do or say or think, never let it take away from who you are.

And So It Is

To those who have wiggled out of the woodwork and called me lunatic, deluded, witch, bitch, devils spawn, stupid and more, I thank you. You are so clever but not clever enough, I think. If you were, then you would realize that you only put me more in the draw attention to me and it assists me in reaching more people. Thank you for your help.
Yes, I am being a bit sarcastic but it needed to be said. I push buttons from time to time. It can never be said that I shy away from speaking out loud and long.

Just What Is Your Truth?

Here are ways in which you can get in touch with your truth:

1. Make a list of what you desire and phrase it in the present tense:
* "I have more than enough money to live a comfortable and relaxing life."
* "I am a beautiful person and heal others with my words."
2. Find a hobby or become reacquainted with an old one. Play an instrument, write, journal, dance, go for a walk, cook, etc.
3. Listen to your inner voice and shut out any negative thoughts. Tell them that they are "old news" and you don't need them anymore.
4. Come up with fun affirmations and place them around your home.
5. Breathe! Don't be so eager to respond in conversation or jump the gun when you are upset. Take a breath, or 5 breaths, before you say anything. This also applies if you are having a bad day.
6. Me-time is very important. Take a time out at least once a day to do something you enjoy.
7. Don't hide your feelings. Express them in a positive way by either journaling, talking to a friend, setting boundaries in relationships or speaking up and saying, "This doesn't feel right. I need a few moments before I decide."
8. If you must get angry, excuse yourself and be angry for a limited amount of time. Don't suppress your feelings. Afterward, have a good laugh about it. This also applies to other negative or self-defeating feelings.
9. Find the truth in others. Listen during conversations without thinking about how you will respond. Often we are paired with people who will teach us about our truth through mere reflection.

There are many ways to express yourself: words, song, writing, cooking, dancing, etc. Make your world reflect what you desire. Remember that all these forms of self-expression are your gifts! What does your self-expression say about you and your reality? What are you telling the world you want to attract? Are these expressions coming from negativity or from your heart and a place of truth?

It is important to remember that every single situation has brought you to where you are at this moment. Although heartbreaks, financial hardships and loss of jobs can seem like disasters, they can be blessings in disguise. Rather than think, "Wow! I was such a loser because I couldn't keep a job," focus on something good that came out of the experience. Perhaps losing a job ...pushed you into learning a more interesting trade or perhaps you met a special person in a new workplace. By shifting your thoughts and feelings, you are on your way to attracting positive people, situations and experiences into your life.

How to Recreate the Past

1. When a Negative Memory Creeps Up, Change It

Daydream about how you would have liked the event to unfold while keeping in mind that you cannot change another person. Focus on feeling excited or happy, rather than on being upset about something that happened. Imagine feeling relieved that you did not get that job because it really wasn't right for you. Believe that breaking up with your ex was the right thing to do for the well being of you both.

2. Change the Beliefs You Created From Past Events

Do you believe that love is hard? Do you believe you will always have financial difficulty? Change these beliefs. Visualize yourself laughing at those beliefs. Isn't it silly to think that the Universe doesn't want you to have success like other people? Isn't it hilarious that we gave so much power over to another person or situation that it altered our thoughts? Embrace the belief that you have the power to change it all for your highest good.

3. Find the Lessons in Your Experiences

What did you learn from negative experiences? What did you gain? Remember to focus on the positive. Do not think about how you spent two weeks on the couch eating cookie dough because some guy didn't want you. Instead, relax into the mental state where you had those "aha" moments. By focusing on the lessons, you'll be attracting more "Ah Ha" Moments about the past and your current situations. This place of clarity and acceptance will bring peace to your life.

Who has Your POWER?

Many people feel discouraged by feelings of dis-empowerment. This happens when we give away our power by worrying too much about what another person is feeling, thinking and doing. Rather than focus on ourselves, we channel all of our energy into a situation that we cannot control. Can we truly control another? No! So, why exhaust all of our energy into a futile cause? Focusin...g on someone else at the expense of our own independence puts us in a powerless position. Our self-identity is compromised when we define ourselves by the feelings or actions of another person.

* Do you rely on the thoughts and feelings of others to determine what you should do?
* Do you seek constant validation from others so that you can feel good about yourself?
* Are your dreams defined by what another person thinks you should do?
* Where are you in this equation?
* Do you even exist?
* Or are you just a robot that lives by the program of another persons thoughts and feelings?

Self-esteem and self-acceptance issues are the primary reasons we find ourselves in this place of "need". We are not confident in our judgment. We lack the faith that no matter what happens, we will be provided for in every way. It's human to have vulnerable feelings every now and then, but it's debilitating to your spirit to constantly dwell on someone else. Let it go, realize you are the only person worth your energy and focus.

Whatever you call God is all it takes.

Names invoke spiritual forces. What you name is what you call forth. God inhabits the praises of His people. So gratitude, thankfulness and praise expressed for who God is and what God has done invokes the presence of God. The nature of that presence reflects the language you use. Praise for God's healing invokes a 'healing anointing.'

The humble approach to praying for others is to admit that we can't change them. You are not God. God is God. So bless what God is doing in their life and leave them in God's hands. Let Go!

Turn Complaints into prayer.
Think upon this!

The tiger is awake and feeling good.

I started my gratitude practice this morning and I feel so charged and "HOOKED UP" and guided. I thanked God for my car, bed, kitchen, continued health, abundance, slippers, pillow, running water etc. That was within minutes of waking up.
If in the first precious moments of the day, you start with gratitude, the energy you invoke is over the top.
Now, I am excited because when this is done the day unfolds with experiences that make you wonder what the next moments hold for you.
It is spiritual magic and you hold the wand!

Okay Dear Friends, students, brothers, sisters, followers, supporters, soul family...
It is no mistake that we have met in this way.

Know that I love you and I am praying for all you collectively and individually as well.

I receive your requests for knowledge, understanding, guidance, prayer.
I accept your messages of love. I hear every one of you.
If you are reading this, it is my dearest wish that you feel the love I am sending you.

For October 17, 2011

Right here, Right now,
If you are reading this, I am asking you to leave a comment on one thing you are grateful for this day. Let us form an ever widening circle of love, knowledge and possibilities.

As you step forward and proclaim what is good in your life you will feel the energy from the other souls who are on this forum. Help me spread the message that GRATITUDE brings forth.

I want to create a forum of oneness and spiritual magic. I want all of you to feel how important and powerful the spiritual practice of GRATITUDE is! Then later on you can thank me that you took this seriously and it changed your entire day!

Forgive, Forgive, Forgive and Live, Live Live

It’s easy to get wrapped up in thinking that forgiveness is just about something you “should do”. But forgiving can in a practical way be extremely beneficial for you.

One of the best reasons to forgive can be found in this quote by Catherine Ponder:

“When you hold resentment toward another, you are bound to that person or condition by an emotional link that is stronger than steel. Forgiveness is the only way to dissolve that link and get free.”

As long as you don’t forgive someone you are linked to that person. Your thoughts will return to the person who wronged you and what s/he did over and over again. The emotional link between the two of you is so strong and inflicts much suffering in you and – as a result of your inner turmoil – most often in other people around you too.

When you forgive you do not only release the other person. You set yourself free from all of that agony.

By Rev. Diannia Baty

Last night I started having computer issues and during this time I could rapidly see how much I have grown spiritually, emotionally and mentally.
There was a time when this would have sent me into a panic and it would have ruined my hours and days until I got it resolved.
... Now, I use all my tools of mind, body and spirit to deal with it.

1. Using the powers of the mind, I mentally take inventory of what I am thinking and change whatever thoughts need to be changed. If there is a negative thought, I use a affirmation that is powerful instead. In this case, I stated, " Stay calm. The solution is at hand and it will be resolved quickly. Be at peace."

2. I checked in with my body to see if any signals of stress was present. Stiff neck, agitation, shallow or fast breathing or irritation in my stomach would be signs that my body was reacting to my thoughts.

3. Spiritually, I start using gratitude, staying in the now and I send out a request to the spiritual realm for assistance and guidance for fast resolution. I know my spirit guides and guardian angels will rise to the occasion every single time.

4. I thank my creator by saying, "I thank you for everything as it is already on its way."

5. I LET GO!

Last Wishes!

I, REV. DIANNIA BATY, being of sound mind and body, do not wish to be kept alive indefinitely by artificial means. Under no circumstances should my fate be put in the hands of pinhead politicians who couldn’t pass ninth-grade biology if their lives depended on it, or lawyers / doctors interested in simply running up the bills. If a reasonable amount of time passes and I fail to ask for at least one of the following:

Glass of wine or a Bloody Mary
a ride in the mountains
a trip to the thrift store
my dog Hector
Fried Shrimp
Chicken fried steak
Fried Chicken
cream gravy
Mexican food
French fries
ice cream
cup of tea
To Play with my dog, Hector
A Hug
My fuzzy bunny slippers or
reruns of...Sex in the City and Dancing with the Stars.
It should be presumed that I won’t ever get better. When such a determination is reached, I hereby instruct my appointed person and attending physicians to pull the plug, reel in the tubes and call it a day.

What is a Spiritual Life Coach?

I am a spiritual life coach and I want to clarify what it is that I do.

What Is Spiritual Life Coaching?
I am finding a lot of people do not have a clue what a spiritual life coach is. First I would like to clarify what a life coach is not. A life coach is not a therapist though at times it may feel like that. A powerful life coach will assist you in being your own th...erapist as you are guided gently in initiating change within yourself.
In this “working together” relationship you will find that there are two efforts working toward a common goal. You will be provided insight and guidance from an outside vantage point to go from “tunnel vision” to “total vision” of your life.
This is a partnership based on an on-going collaborative effort based on taking action.

In this powerful alliance you will find yourself…
1. Doing more than you would on your own.
2. You will take yourself and your life more seriously.
3. You will create more momentum and consistency.
4. You will take more focused and effective action.
5. You will be more balanced and fulfilled.

People hire a SLC when they want to make changes, are feeling dissatisfied, anxious, depressed, stuck, feeling lost and unsure what to do next. Relationships, health, career issues, and feeling separated from God are the main reasons you may seek a SLC rather than a therapist or psychologist because the other avenues of help simply did not work for you.
Spiritual Life Coaching is action motivated. It is about moving forward and not dwelling on the past.

It doesn’t matter how you got to where you are or who is to blame for how you turned out.
Coaching is about where you are now and where you would like to be. With a spiritual life coach as your guide you are able to define your dreams, recognize what’s holding you back and move forward with clarity of vision.

Most Beautiful Message!

I just received the most beautiful message. There is a sweet couple I have been coaching. They are BIG supporters and friends. Although, we have never met I love them so much. They are like a lot of older couples who are in their golden years, living on a fixed income with family and health issues. I do not charge them. I just want to help. They are worth it. Their hearts are so open. My desire wa...s to empower them and brings some peace and clarity in their lives.
I will copy and paste her message below as I do not want to give out names so they can maintain their privacy. I am so deeply touched.

I am the sum total of all my life experiences.
It feels as though I lived two or three lifetimes before I was 21 years old.
Everything I have experienced so far has led up to who and what I am today.
My life could have taken a far different direction if I had not let go of my victim mentality. When you think you are a victim your life will reflect that belief.
When you decide to let go of that belief everything changes.

How to Stop a Heart Attack Dead in Its Tracks…

This is something we should all have with us.

Did you know that a common herb (that’s probably sitting in your spice cabinet right now) has the power to stop an in-progress heart attack?
It’s true. This fiery herb – known to most as a spice – has been shown to stop a heart attack in as little as 3 minutes after taking it.

So what is this wonder herb?

Cayenne pepper (Capsicum annuum).

Medical practitioners both ancient and contemporary have touted the medicinal
properties of cayenne as well as a variety of hot peppers (including bird, chili, and Tabasco) due to their high content of capsaicin.

Capsaicin is one of seven capsaicinoid compounds present in peppers, and is the
primary compound responsible for the hot sensation of the pepper fruit, as well as its medicinal benefits.

It has long been claimed that cayenne, due to its high capsaicin content, is useful in stopping a heart attack in under three minutes, without damaging the heart muscle. A similar claim is made of capsaicin’s ability to abort an in-progress stroke.

The late pioneer herbalist Dr. John Christopher recommended a glass of cayenne tea be given every 15 minutes until the medical crisis (heart attack) passes. Alternatively, it is said that a teaspoon of cayenne tincture (Google: Christopher’s Original Formula Cayenne Exract™) every 15 minutes is equally effective.

Dr. Christopher wrote,
In 35 years of practice, and working with the people and teaching, I have never on house calls lost one heart attack patient…if they are still breathing, I pour down them a cup of cayenne tea (a teaspoon of cayenne in a cup of hot water), and within minutes they are up and around… The warm tea is faster working than tablets, capsules, cold tea, because the warm tea opens up the cell structure…and it goes directly to the heart, through the artery system… Cayenne is a certain remedy for heart attack; as a stimulant, it can start the heart into action again, and as it facilitates blood flow throughout the body, it will keep the heart going.
In the September 2009 edition of the journal Circulation, Keith Jones, Ph.D. and a group of researchers from the Department of Pharmacology and Cell Biophysics at the University of Cincinnati announced findings which shed new light on capsaicin’s relationship to heart function. This information gives credence to Dr. Christopher’s anecdotal reporting, and takes capsaicin’s near-miraculous effects to the level of evidence-based medicine.

The University researchers found that an over-the-counter pain salve containing capsaicin rubbed on the skin during a heart attack is a cardio-protectant which can prevent or reduce heart damage while other interventions are administered. Dr. Jones’ team found that applying capsaicin to the stomachs of mice caused sensory nerves in the skin to trigger signals in the nervous system which activate cellular “pro-survival” pathways in the heart, reducing cardiac cell death by 85%. Apparently skin—the largest organ of the human body—has evolved to protect animals, including humans, in a variety of ways. The researchers also found that a small incision made on the abdomen triggered an 81% reduction in cell death.

The researchers stated,
Topical capsaicin has no known serious adverse effects and could be easily applied in an ambulance or emergency room setting [or by anyone present including the victim] well in advance of coronary tissue death. If proven effective in humans, this therapy has the potential to reduce injury and/or death in the event of a coronary blockage, thereby reducing the extent and consequences of heart attack.

Both this and the capsaicin effect are shown to work through similar neurological mechanisms. These are the most powerful cardio-protective effects recorded to date…This is a form of remote cardioprotection, using a skin stimulus that activates cardioprotection long before the blocked coronary artery is opened… All of the current interventions require the vessel to be opened before doctors can act, and since it takes time to elicit protection, tissue dies…This treatment will protect the heart before the vessel is opened while producing a strong protective effect that is already active when we open the vessel.

By activating these sensors in the nervous system, via skin, we think that a response to preserve and protect the heart is triggered…We think that this technique is fooling the body into sending out protective signals…This may be similar to the way certain acupuncture treatments work; there may be a neurological basis. In a broad sense, this work may provide a ‘Rosetta stone’ for translating alternative medicine techniques like acupuncture to Western medicine. Perhaps we can understand the biological mechanisms
of how alternative treatments may be successful for patients…This could help create favorable outcomes for those who are experiencing stroke, shock or are in need of an organ transplant, and the best part is that it is done non-invasively and is relatively inexpensive. (2)

Additional Healing Benefits of Cayenne Pepper…

In addition to alleviating tissue damage from a cardiac event, this miraculous herb has a wide range of other healing benefits.

Cayenne Pepper, Ground in Powder
In fact, cayenne is a powerful natural aid in:

* Weight Loss – Burns extra calories in a way similar to exercise and suppresses appetite
* Wound Healing – From minor abrasions to gunshot wounds, applying cayenne powder topically (or with hot tea internally) causes blood to clot and can stop the bleeding within seconds. Also prevents scarring when applied topically.
* Detox and Cleansing
* Digestion
* Lowering blood pressure
* Stopping an in-progress stroke

Dr. Christopher recommends…
Cayenne in Hot Water (tea) For a heart attack – 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper in a cup of hot water, or one teaspoon of cayenne tincture, every 15 minutes until the crisis passes.

If you currently have heart problems or know someone who does, take a few minutes and put some cayenne in a capsule or put a teaspoon or two in a small baggy and keep it in your purse or wallet; you never know whose life you may save.

Why do you judge them?

Who do you judge and why do you judge them?
Do you assume the obese person you see is lazy? Do you assume that the person standing on the street corner with a sign that says...Will work for food is a scammer? Do you think the person that is talking to themselves is crazy? Do you think that everyone that shops in thrift stores is poor? Do you think a few black men standing on a street corner are criminals?
This list is endless as I could go on and on but the fact of the matter is if you examine your judgments, you will find out a lot about yourself. Many of us were taught since childhood to be judgmental.

To all those people who made me laugh so hard that I cried...
To all of those people who made me cry so hard that I laughed...
To all of those people who made me wonder why you were in my life...
To all of those people who pulled me down, lied to and betrayed me...
To all of those who walked into my life and all of those who walked out...
To all of those who have loved me and hated me...
To all of those people who have impacted my life
good, bad or indifferent in any way....

“A man is ethical only when life, as such, is sacred to him, that of plants and animals as that of his fellow men, and when he devotes himself helpfully to all life that is in need of help.”
~Albert Schweitzer

“If a man loses his reverence for any part of life, he will lose his reverence for all of life.”
~Albert Schweitzer

If you can't say something nice!

Try and be tolerant on all subjects. Keep an open mind.
Bear in mind that destructive criticism creates only negative energy and sorrow.
Unless you can constructively comment on all the matter at hand refrain from speaking. There is a way to disagree with class and presence.

Who is the boss?

Just who and what is thinking the thoughts that are being created. Your brain does not operate independent of your input...
The mind ( spirit) is doing the thinking. The brain then stores that created information to be retrieved at any time. You, the spirit, the mind is the boss.

Empty yourself of any preconceived notions of this day.
Let it begin anew by itself without any input from you as
to what you think it will be or should be.
Imagine letting go of all thoughts and just be in a state
of non-attachment to any outcomes.
... If a thought comes, observe it as a cloud passing in the sky.
You are the one creating the thought.
You are the one that can also let it drift by.
Take a deep breath and continue the practice of
"Letting Go."

Your destiny is not tied to what people may say about you.
Not everyone will understand you or your motives.
Stop listening to the naysayers and critics and stop living to please people.
It is an exercise in futility.
Don't allow the opinions of others to change you.
Keep pressing forward and all will be well.

When was the last time you did something just for the heck and giggle of it!
When was the last time you acted silly and joyful!
Don't you think it is about time to make another memory moment or two.

Another View Of Relationships

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty; to provide you with guidance and support; to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time..., this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Don't throw in the towel!

Sure I know that many of you just want to give up and throw in the towel.
I know that some of you wish for death but death is not the end either.
It is far better to keep plugging away step by step, day by day.
For living in despair and fear is still living and at one point this too shall pass.
You are never alone.
Open your heart just a crack and let hope flame into existence.
Talk to God and let it all out and ask for help and it will arrive.
Then just Let Go!

Have you had a conversation with your God today?

What if you could change your perspective on what is wrong and what is right?
What if nothing is either wrong or right but rather two views of the same subject?

What if you dumped labeling things as an absolute of "either this or that" and just let it be what it is and observe the outcome! Try it for a while.

Personality Check?

What part of your personality do you not like about yourself?
What part of your personality gets in the way of your personal relationships?
Are you bossy and controlling?
Do you complain a lot?
Do you act loud and obnoxious?
... Maybe you sit in the corner and refuse to interact with others.
Do you use profanity when you speak?
Are you sloppy?
Are you always Late?
Are you tired of not liking this about your self?
If you are, there is a way to change it.
First identify the fear behind it.
Once you get to the fear that is feeding it, you can change it.

Set The Stage!

As I sipped my second cup of coffee this morning, I started talking to God.
I was still feeling a little residual irritation at something that happened a few days ago. I chided my self about this because I know better than to let something stew with me and take away my peace.
I asked, "what can I do to get rid of this feeling, Dear God?"
After I asked this I was given a vision of a stage with a red brocade curtain and lights all over it. Then I heard...
Okay, I got it. Play some music, Light some candles, Turn on some lights.
Once these things are done , it will change the energy all around me and I can follow suit and ease completely into Peace!

Interrupting is poor conversation skills

What’s Behind the Need to Interrupt?

When someone interrupts us, we feel annoyed primarily, but also disrespected. Regardless of what we’re talking about or who does the dirty deed, being interrupted sends the message that our words carry less weight than the interrupters’. And that’s partly true, at least in the interrupters’ opinions. Think of the times you’ve stopped someone mid-sentence. You... thought something was so crucial to the conversation that it had to be voiced immediately—that your point was more important, or so important that you didn’t want to risk it not being heard.
Constantly talking over someone to jam in your point is considered bad manners and many times will shut a conversation down. If you want to learn more try waiting your turn.
My dad used to say that my mother would have interrupted the Sermon On The Mount. That is not too far from the truth.

Your mind and spirit is part and parcel of the Universal Mind. You have the wisdom of eternity to draw from. The only limits you have are those you place upon yourself.

Rev. Diannia Baty

Within each of us is a guidance system that is Gods presence. It is that quiet still place within and is part of our spiritual installation package. It is wise to update it every now and then.
Check in with this divine compass for the voice and presence of God.
The only thing you need is a willingness to listen.

God is not some far off Deity, not some stern judge keeping score, not some force that only some people feel. God is a beneficent intelligent energy of everything and in everything that has endowed all to be co-creative with infinite possibilities.

Everything is in a constant changing mode.
We are not the same this second as we were a second ago.

Short Prayer For Today...10/31/2011

Rev. Diannia Baty
Today I offer up myself to be of service to another in some way.
Send me someone that needs to be lifted up today and guide me in the
way to bring them hope and compassion.

The difference between a happy person and an unhappy person is not a question of opportunity or luck. It is in the way they view things. It is in how they consciously or unknowingly use their minds.

Cultivate IT

Be Optimistic...
Cultivate it.
If you find yourself getting down about something...
Use something good to change that thought with.

so should your thoughts be...

Water, the magic elixer...

My spirit guides are telling me to drink more water.. Then last night I turn on the tv just in time for Dr. Oz to tell everyone about a test to see if you are dehydrated and I failed. I opened a magazine and there was an article about how to tell if you are dehydrated. The signs are in my face so today I will drink a lot more water. One of the main symptoms of needing more water is fatigue and headaches.

My Daily Power Drink

Rev. Diannia Baty
I am sipping my power drink...
I cup good water heated.
Add one tablespoon organic apple cider,
One large spoon full of honey
I teaspoon or so of cinnamon
... and a healthy dash of cayenne pepper.

Stir well, Sip and enjoy the benefits.
More energy
Pain relief
Ph of your body starts returning to normal

The health benefits of the apple cider vinegar and honey drink are widely known. This recipe has traditionally been used as an at-home self remedy for many ailments, and even an anti-aging elixir. Many people have smartly made use of its cleansing and disinfecting properties to self-detoxify their body. It is seen as a powerful cleansing agent and healing elixir with naturally occurring antibiotic and antiseptic that fights germs and bacteria.

So, how does this vinegar and honey remedy actually work? A person's bloodstream tends toward becoming acidic with our modern diet of fats, starches and processed foods, (e.g fast foods, meats, peanuts, seafoods, alcohol and coffee)and if your body is acidic, disease can flourish; if it is alkaline, it is in balance and can fight off germs and ailments such as bladder and kidney conditions, osteoporosis, brittle bones, joint pains, aching muscles, low energy and chronic fatigue, and slow digestion. Raw fruits, leafy green vegetables, legumes, and tea are examples of alkaline forming foods. Interestingly and ironically, a food's acid or alkaline-forming tendency in the body has nothing to do with the actual pH of the food itself.

Prayer for today 11/01/2011

PRAYER FOR TODAY...November 1st...2011

I will take time to replenish and nourish my soul
and close the door on chaos to restore peace to my spirit.
I will go into the silence and stillness and listen for your voice.
I will offer peace to my life and live it.

Lost In Myself

I don't know why exactly when in the past few months, I found myself perfectly content to stay at home and turn down many invitations. Since I work out of my home I became a bit isolated but I was okay with it. I stopped teaching for a while and just nested here. I still did a lot of writing. If I stop doing that I will know I am in trouble but so far that has not happened.
I wouldn't say I was depressed, I was more disillusioned than anything else.I guess I just needed the time to re-evaluate.
I have found that the healing energy I offer to others has gotten stronger and more effective during this time and my psychic abilities are stronger than ever.
I am a creative person and thrive on doing things to uplift others so the pulling away thing was different than I have felt in a while.
Now I realize what a gift this quiet introspective time has been as I slowly come out of my cave.It came on very slowly at first and then almost before I knew it I have isolated myself for the most part. I was like a bear at wintertime hibernating until the time was right and now I am coming back to me.
