Getting a Failing Grade In Home Economics

When I was a young teenager there was a class for girls called Home Economics where we were taught how to bake, sew, set a table etc. I hated this class because I was already doing these things and had been doing it for years and my great ability to do these things very well made the other girls shun me. I cooked, cleaned, mended and took care of my four siblings because I was the oldest. I was willingly and not so willingly my mothers helper.
All the responsibility chaffed at me and I felt bound to eternal chores. I felt that I would excel at this class but this was not the case. The problem was I could have taught the class. Everything was easy for me. My class mates were envious and since I was the new kid in school as was often the case, this was reason enough to bully and pick on me.
After a while I would turn in sloppy work or burn the cookies, thinking this would turn things around. It didn't. I failed the class. The other girls still did not accept me. My teacher sat me down and asked me why I was doing so well at the beginning and then was unproductive as she put it.
I told her I was already doing all these things at home and had been for years and the class was a mistake for me. I said that there was nothing she could teach me that I didn't already know. She got huffy and told me that I would receive a failing grade for her class and I did.
Not too long after that my family moved again. I have thought back to that class and realize now that I should have allowed myself to do well at that class and get the well-deserved A. Because of other peoples opinions and my desire to be accepted. I bowed under peer pressure and did the opposite and got an F in the process.
So this begs the question, "how many times do we show ourselves as less than we are simply to fit in?" No matter what the circumstances are we must do our best and shine
even if it makes someone else uncomfortable. Maybe if I had fit in with these girls I may have found a bunch of girls that may have led me down the wrong path. I have learned through the years that accepting and loving myself is one of the things I had to do to come to a sense of peace in this world.
God has given me so many gifts and I am going to unwrap all of them before this physical life is over. www.makeachoicenow.com

The Crazy Ups and Downs of Friendship

During this past year I have experienced what I am sure many of you have and that is serious disappointment with friendships and relationships and all the craziness that can ensue.

There is no getting around it, there will be times that we will let down the people we care about and they will let us down as well. There are deal breakers that come up that are unacceptable but the smaller things seem to have become big things for so many people and I will try to shed some light on these other things and give a spiritual outlook on all of this.

I think the first thing would be for each person in turn to define clearly what friendship is to them and what you expect. This would be an eye opener for you when you find that in a lot of cases you may simply be expecting too much perfection from another person when you aren’t perfect yourself. None of us are!

With me, this perfection is expected more than most because I am a spiritual teacher and a member of the clergy. This puts me in a precarious position when it comes to befriending people and allowing them into my private space and daily life. Too many times I am put on some kind of pedestal and I do not want to be there. I do not insist on someone using my title of reverend and in fact do not make it a big deal at all. It is other people who make it a big deal. I am not a celebrity nor do I wish to become one.
As a child, my family moved around a lot and as a result of that I never had any close friends. I was always hungry for a friend that I could be with to share who and what I was. So, in retrospect I realized when I became an adult that I was Not very selective when it came to picking a friend, if they befriended me that was enough.

Through the earlier years I had some real weird friendships. I also had some extremely hurtful ones. Looking back I arrived at the conclusion that most of them were co-dependant just like my mother and father. They were all I had as role models. I learned at the heavy knees of serious dysfunction. Monkey see, Monkey do!

I have grown a lot on discernment but I, like everyone else needs a friendship that is sustaining and real. I came to a realization that life being what it is, that this would be one of the biggest challenges of all. I thought it would be death, judgment or betrayal, etc. What I have come to know is all the other challenges are tied to relationships in all its many forms and definitions.
For a while it was starting to feel as though I was detoxing from negative relationships/friendships. Are there any Friendship Anonymous Groups out there? Maybe there should be!
Now don’t get me wrong I have had some wonderful friendships along the way but I have also learned that not everyone in your life is supposed to be there for the rest of your life.
It would be real crowded at the dinner table if this were true.

People keep showing up and doing exactly what they are supposed to do to show you something, teach you something and point the way back to the purest essence of self. All my relationships that I had previously labeled bad were not in fact bad at all. They were a blessing and what had happened was for my greatest and highest good and theirs but it is my journey and not theirs I concentrate on.

Now, when something happens that breaks my heart and drags down my spirit instead of retaliating and becoming angry, I retreat into myself in prayer and meditation and ask the question, “What am I supposed to know about me and for me?” I ask to see the blessings that are there. I want to do this as fast as possible and not arrive to a conclusion years later. I simply don’t want to drag around all the hurt for years. Talk about living in the past. I want to live, learn and move on and become a better, wiser and more enlightened soul. I want to embrace my power. I do not want to be bitter and full of resentment at something I feel has been done to me. I see it spiritually as something that happened for me, not to me.

I utilize the spiritual tools of introspection, solitude, meditation, prayer and allow myself to look inward to carry me forward out of any darkness and into the light. I do not want to fuel a negative situation with more negative energy. It takes practice and a commitment to the process to just “Let Go,” after you know what you need to know. Accept it and move on.

This is the way to your higher self and God. This is the road to what is called Mastery.
Becoming the master of your life is something that when started…one step leads to a more powerful one and so on. It is addicting in a peaceful sense. You are then no longer a wonderer but rather a “Knower.”

Visualize with me for a moment and imagine a train trip that you are on. You start in a place that is dirty and dark with almost no scenery that brings you joy. The train takes off and as you watch the scenery out the window it gets gradually more beautiful and full of life with clear blue skies and thousands of trees and waterfalls. Occasionally it goes through a dark tunnel and pops out the other side and the scenery gets more incredible, as your eyes drink it all in, your heart swells with happiness. Soon another tunnel ahead and maybe this one is darker and scarier for a bit and then just as before it pops out very quickly to the other side blasting you with beauty and peace and knowledge of what you just experienced.

I am describing the spiritual journey of a committed seeker. If this is not you then this is something to think about. WWW.MAKEACHOICENOW.COM

Have you talked to God today?

It is important to talk to your creator every day as you would you best friend in the whole world. You know what that is like, don't you? Just because you can't see God in the usual sense does not make God unreal. You know how it feels when someone you care about doesn't call you for quite a while and speak to you just to say hello and validate that you matter to them. Think about it!

Doe And Fawn

In the cemetery after the grass had been freshly cut came the mother and the baby.
They were very tentative at first. The doe was hungry and the smell of the fresh cut grass was intoxicating to her. I watched them from a distance. They knew I was there but did not seem alarmed. I sent feelings of love and peace to them and let the mother know through my thought projections that all was well. I kept expecting them to run off into the surrounding woods but they didn’t. I was so grateful to be able to witness them. The beauty of the doe and her fawn will stay with me forever.
I decided to sit on the ground and just watch. After the mother had nibbled for a while on the grass she came closer and suddenly just laid down. I could not have been more thrilled. She was totally relaxed and just needed to rest. I only dared to take one photo. They remained there after I got up to leave. I have often wondered if I had some food that day if I could have fed them from my hands.

That morning I had been feeling restless and ill at ease for some inexplicable reason and couldn’t seem to tap into my spiritual center. I had been feeling this way for a few days and couldn’t shake it off.

I grabbed my camera, a blanket and some writing materials and set off to find the peace I had asked God for that day. There are no coincidences in life. This is what was sent to me to experience. I originally wanted to take some photos of the memorial stones. There were some beautiful grave stones in this cemetery. I was currently writing a series of articles on death to help people understand it.
As I watched this scene unfold in front of me I was filled with peace and the message I got was clear. I had been immersed in this subject of death for so long and had given so many workshops on it and grief counseling that I had forgotten to fill up my own cup. I was too busy filling up the cup of others. My cup was almost empty. No wonder I was feeling restless and not at peace. I was being shown a wonderful example of life and renewal. I understood and took the guidance that God had given me on that day and slowed down a bit and added back into my life the things that always gave me human joy. It was time to refill my own cup. When I got home I took a long scented bubble bath and played some of my favorite music. I did some gardening that always grounds me. That night I made a great salad and used some of the herbs I grew. I turned off the phone and the computer and lit some candles.
I sat in blissful meditation for a long time and communed with God and I couldn’t have been more content. My restlessness and unease was totally gone.
I was also reminded that “ask and you will receive is not just a bunch of empty words.”
I often think of this day and each time I am filled with peace. Is your cup a little empty? If it is then maybe the thing to do is get back on track with God. He will always answer your requests and help you re-fill the cup of life. It is a good idea to back away from the busyness of life. The world will not stop turning because you didn’t answer the door or the phone or yet another e-mail. In order to effectively
serve others; I have to serve myself first. Do you recall what a cup of coffee or tea looks like when there is just a little left in it and it has been sitting for a while? It is unappetizing with just the dregs left in it. I think you get the picture.

No one can take better care of you than you.
Now fill up that cup!

Monster Storms

It was one of those storms that come out of nowhere. If you have ever lived in Florida and been through one of these, they can be pretty frightening. If you look closely you can see the little bumps that can easily become tornados. This is nature at her finest.
When one of these monsters is looming and the wind is starting to pick up, there is only one thing to do and that is run for cover. Of course, the first thing I did was run for the camera and then run for cover before one of those bolts of electricity
melted my tennis shoes to the ground.
This storm raged and the winds blew and knocked over patio furniture. The rain fell in buckets. My dog was hiding under the bed as usual. The lightning was awesome but very dangerous. The bolts were constant and the thunder boomed so loud I thought my ear drums were going to burst.
These storms were the norm during the rainy season and I am one of those people who love storms. After about two hours it was gone as quickly as it came. The sun came back out and you could see steam rising from the pavement. It was time to pick up the patio furniture and get back to whatever you were doing.
Now this was a real storm but I am reminded of the other kind of daily storms that can come out of nowhere in our lives. In a heartbeat everything can change. We will be in a car accident or get a diagnosis of terminal cancer from our doctor. We could get the news of a death in the family or be laid off from work. Our spouse could ask us for a divorce or someone has stolen our identity and has credit cards in our name. We could be served with papers to appear in court because someone is taking us to small claims court. I think you get the picture. These life storms can literally melt our spiritual tennis shoes to the ground unless we are somehow prepared to handle them.
I am not trying to instill a “the sky is falling” mentality. What I am trying to do is to make you aware that you must have your spiritual practices fully functional to be able to weather these storms. Be aware and fully present in your life. Become the highest and best version of you that you were meant to be. Then when the storms come you have the ability to stand tall and firm. You will not be a victim of the event. You will be a participant who is fully aware and able transform the event to something positive. It is so easy to forget that we have an ally when the storms threaten to knock us over or knock us out. God is ever present. Our creator doesn’t hide under the bed.
If you are one of those people who only acknowledge God when things are going bad
then it is time to stop blaming God for all the upsetting things in your life. If the only time you even think of God is when you want to blame something on your creator, think again. God is there when the sun shines and when your children are born. God is always there. If a bolt of lightning hit me and fried my shoes, I know it is the storm and not God that did it. How do I know this? I can sum it up in three words. GOD IS LOVE!

I teach a spiritual development class every Wednesday night and this month we are concentrating on relationships.

Everything is a relationship of some form or another. We have relationships with our cars, pets, gardens, homes, clothes etc. The list is endless. Of course the most important relationship is the one we have with our God and then ourselves and then and only then everyone else.

Too many of us have this all backwards and that is where the trouble comes in. How can you have a healthy authentic relationship with another person if you do not have one with yourself.

It is important to know who you are and what makes you happy or sad. What do you like or dislike. What kind of food or movies are your preference? Simple questions but the sad truth is we are way too willing to concentrate on the needs of others and put ourselves and God last on the list of priorities.

God should be first because without a relationship with your creator nothing else will work right. But most of you know that already , don't you?

What is a good day?

Yesterday was a day to be thankful for. I was in good spirits and just happy and feeling blessed. The weather was so beautiful. Cool air prevailed with lots of sunshine. I went to a service at Unity Church and after lunch drove home. I quickly changed clothes, gave Hector his doggie cookie and went outside to just sit and soak
it up for a while.
I was joyous for no reason at all except that I could be that way. I could choose joy.
I know now through my spiritual journey that life is a constant series of choice every single day and no single choice is unimportant. Every choice leads to another experience and another.
I have greatly decreased my television watching and only watch around two hours a day. most of the day the screen is dark so my days are a lot more productive. This is one of my choices. This particular choice has positive results. I am more in a state of awareness in my days without this particular distraction.
I planted a few more things in my garden and admired it for a while. Later on I went to bed early and felt a good tiredness that took me to dream land quickly.
Now some would say that my day sounds boring but I was full of peace and joy all day and if that is boring then I will choose it anytime.
I felt God close to me all day as if he was right by my side and I knew it was because of what I was emotionally expressing through my heart.

A Sleepless Night

Last night I had a very hard time getting to sleep. I remained in that state between sleep and awake for hours. Finally, I got up and went downstairs to read. When I came back to bed sleep alluded me for another hour so this morning I am tired and groggy yet here I am writing something.

What came to me is how prayer is the hidden source of power. I don't think we give prayer the attention it deserves. Prayer is talking to our source in a focused way and allows us to tap into the universal mind.

There are times when I envision my troubles to be little balls of lead in a basket and I just lay the basket at Gods door and leave it. I trust God to help me dispose of what is not for my highest calling.

There are other times when I just lay myself at Gods door to help me look within and fill myself with peace for this day.

Thumping and Thinking

As I was sitting here this morning waiting for God to channel to me what to write about this morning, it strikes me that I am having trouble concentrating because they are working on my street laying cable. There is a constant thump, thump, thump sound coming from one of their machines. After a while it feels similar to what Chinese water torture must feel like. Then I had a light bulb moment. It is only a problem if I view it as a problem.

After all if the things we are looking at are not changing then changing the way we see it is the key to a higher vibration of spiritual mind. Most of the time it changes instantly and stays that way. There may be times when you have to pull yourself back to the higher thought another time or two but it is well worth the effort.

I am a perpetual student of life and life will hand me a lot of experiences. It is as if God caught my thought vibration and just sent it back as experience. I hear the words..."what are you going to do with this experience?" I get it! I get it!

So now I am hearing this constant pulsing thump and I ask, "what am I supposed to know?" As soon as I wrote this the thumping increased in speed.

It is a vibration that could be used for healing...that is the way I choose to view it and now it is not a bother any longer!

Can I have the key to your closed mind?

It has occurred to me that the true value in a visionary, philosopher or a mystic is that they challenge us to open our usually closed off minds. We are forced to hold the door open to new possibilities. There are many of us who would be labeled a heretic in
former times in history and burned or in the case of Jesus put on the cross. Here was a rebel with a cause and they couldn't shut him up even though they tried. He is my hero when I get a little down in my quest to bring about understanding and knowledge.

If he could do what he did over two thousand years ago under sometimes terrible conditions then I can certainly keep going. Throughout time people have been persecuted for introducing new ideas and new truths. For the most part we have gone past it but it still continues today.

I have been called a lot of things. The list would include, psycho lady, Reverend Huh, cult leader, blasphemer, and irreverent reverend etc. I give it no mind because I have also been called a transformational visionary, spiritual leader, universal mystic, new age philosopher and inspirational spiritual teacher.

Every time someone gives me a nickname of any kind it means I have their attention and that is what this is all about. If you have made up your mind about something, have taken a hard line and are closed off to new knowledge about God, the universe and yourself then there is nothing I can do except to tell you that when you say that is just the way it is, you have contributed to what is wrong with our world today and that is a closed mind. You lock yourself in and others out. Imagine how it was when it was proven that the world was not flat. All those hard liners had to give up the key and open their minds with a little egg on their face to boot.

The whole ball of wax about the spiritual journey is being open to knowledge and expanding our ideas about God and ourselves. You are right smack dab in the middle of the evolution of mankind. The incredible advances that are taking place today are happening so fast it almost defies logic. Know this, when it comes to God nothing is logical.

I wonder what Spock with his pointy ears would say if he were in one of my classes? Crack the door open a bit and take a look at what is happening in the spiritual world. Know it or not but what I am doing is being validated constantly. As God said to me in a recent dream, "hang in there kiddo." I am already over the rainbow and will stay there because the hanging in is easier.

Path...walk, walk, walk and walk.

This is just one of those days when I am not focused and feel a bit at odds with my life in general. I am having to work a little harder at awareness. There are days when I am in vibrational harmony with God and the cosmos with almost no effort and others it is a constant struggle to stay the course. What a journey this living thing is. Walk, walk and walk because it is an unending journey.
I just put on some soothing music and light a candle and greet my day. There are some gifts coming from the universe and I want to be present enough that I can see them and receive them and know what they are. I will use the spiritual practice of being in the now. I know it works and I will share with you later of my experience.

I am open to receive that which I asked for.
I will not resist with my thoughts.
I will stay in harmony with that which I want.

WAITING

At first I couldn't wait to get big enough to go to school and then found out it wasn't what I thought it was cracked up to be. Then I couldn't wait to be a teenager and who could have guessed how much of a trial that would be. Then I couldn't wait to leave home and it was harder out there in the world on my own. Then I couldn't wait to be a wife and what a disaster that was. Then I couldn't wait to be a mother but didn't get to hold my babies for very long. I had so much impatience throughout my life. God told me to be still and be quiet and in the stillness I would find peace and I did.

In all the trials and traumas I finally saw the gifts and the whys and stopped saying it was bad. It was painful but not bad. These things happened for me and not to me and I have grown enough to know this.

The Dark Night Of The Soul

We all seem to take it for granted that we know ourselves. We think we know who we are and what we want. But, do we really know ourselves? Something usually happens to us at some point that makes us question everything we know or thought we knew about life and ourselves. We will go through a period when we will start to question everything that we previously thought to be true and it is usually precipitated by a crisis and it keeps us in a state of anxiety that can affect us physically, emotionally and finally spiritually. The chaos that is living inside threatens to swallow us whole and we feel like we are fading away from life in general. Everything that gave us pleasure or joy means very little at this time.
This is the dark night of the soul. Although it is very uncomfortable and frightening it will not last long if we are present to it. In other words call it out and stand toe to toe with it and examine it. Pray about it, journal it and examine it. It is the souls wake up call to really look at your life and weed out what doesn't work, isn't good and bring in more of what does work. It is a call for change in a big way.
If your world seems shattered it is important to know that it is you that can put it back together again. The help that you need is not another drink or another pill. It is not to be found in the soothing and not so kind words of your family and friends. It can be found with the creator's help. God does not charge by the hour and is on call 24 hours a day. Don't suffer through this alone. You don't have to be alone ever.
Remember that we we choose to ignore grows stronger until we can't ignore it any longer.

Even My Dreams Include God

During deep sleep God visits and it is always a nice surprise when this happens. The next day I am filled with peace and a sense of excitement as I know something is coming in terms of guidance and possibly a vision.
Another way spirit gives me a heads up is my right ear will ring slightly on and off until I receive a vision in a big way.
A few days ago I got a vision after the ear ringing went on and off for a few days and it was not something minor. A volcano exploded and threw off rocks and one was the size of a school bus. I was told it would happen soon. I am also getting visions of underwater earthquakes and they will be more frequent to the point that we will become alarmed...this of course will start to trigger many tsunamis. If you live near any coast please take heed. Pay attention to the signs they are all there and should not be ignored.Don't hide away and pretend nothing is happening in our world. You know that it is. You can't hide from the changes that are happening.

The Power Of Intention and Thought!

I am going to be putting things on my blog more than usual to give you something to look over and then I will slow down but for now I am busy getting it together for you. I just got a call from someone who loves it and asked me why I didn't do this a long time ago and my answer is because I thought I would not have enough skill to go forward with it.
I remember a long time ago convincing myself that learning macrame would be too hard. I wanted to learn this particular skill of tying knots in fancy ways to make things. It excited me at the prospect of being able to do it but I never took any lessons. I felt what was the use.
I felt the classes were too costly and very soon a coupon arrived in the mail for half off the classes. The obstacle was removed. Co-incidence? I think not. Finally, I decided to go for it. I signed up for a local class and the day finally arrived. There was about eight of us in class men and women alike. The instructor was a woman of about thirty and she showed us examples of things that she had made.I was very impressed. Once more that voice rang up inside me that said, "this is beyond you and you are wasting your time and money." The first lesson was how to tie the various knots and we made a plant hanger. What I discovered is I was a natural at this and my fingers flew. It was too easy for me. The next day I purchased what I needed and started designing my own creations. I made hanging chairs, lamp shades and hammocks. I loved it. I put together a few of my own design books and sold them.
I made lovely things for gifts and had a blast doing it.
My point to all of this is when I finally decided to start a blog, it wasn't near as difficult as I thought and I have such a sense of accomplishment and the energy of the feel good feeling is addictive. I am creating and when I am creating I am in such a state of peace and joy.
What are you holding back in terms of creating something? What are the internal voices telling you? This is something I will have to be aware of due to prior conditioning from childhood when I never felt good enough or worthy. This is part of a life long spiritual lesson for me to not listen to the negative inner whispers!I am worthy and I am more than good enough.
God celebrates my accomplishments and guides me forward for more of the same and will do the same for you.

Before Enlightenment..Chop wood, Carry Water...After Enlightment...Chop wood, Carry Water

In the course of spiritual study and growth you learn many things. You will say to yourself, why didn’t I know this before? Your life as you know it changes for the better. You become empowered. You become peaceful. The many irritations of daily life just don’t get to you anymore. If they do, your awareness and what you have learned bring you right back to a peaceful place. You start to feel happiness and joy consistently for the first time and not just every now and then but every day.

Some of the people and personal relationships in your life start reacting to you differently.
Some of these interactions will be uplifting and life changing and some will be negative and hurtful but you will start to discern and see the lessons and the messages in everything.

I have found that because of my spiritual practices life is just plain sweeter. An ordinary task is not ordinary anymore. I practice being in the moment and gratitude in my daily life. I can do the laundry now and it is not a chore any longer.
I am grateful for the clothing that got dirty… grateful for the appliances to wash them…grateful for the soap and fabric softener and grateful that I am well enough to wash, dry and fold the laundry in this beautiful home. There are people washing their clothing by beating them against rocks. Now the truth is if you ever have a chance to see a lot of women gather in Africa for example to wash their clothing on the rocks, you will see they are in a state of communal joy. They discuss their problems and just enjoy life in the sun while swapping stories and watching their children play in the water nearby. I often wondered if they are in a state of peace and in the moment while they do this? I would guess the answer is yes. Their problems are not smaller because they have less than us materially. The fact that they have less is just our perception. In truth they have as much as you do, it is just different stuff. In some parts of the world having a few head of cattle and healthy children is considered wealthy.

Our perceptions of the world and the people in it tell us a lot about ourselves. Do you look at everyone who is dressed poorly as someone who is suffering from poverty? It could be the woman in the grocery store who looks a bit raggedy is actually someone who decided to run out quickly to the grocery store after gardening and before she took her shower. She could just possibly live in a million dollar home and be driving a Cadillac. Howard Hughes was one of the richest men in the world but in later years looked like a bum on the street. If you ran across him you would have crossed the street to avoid him. Now, he was mentally unhinged at that point but I think you get my point. The old man on the street talking to himself
and avoiding eye contact could be someone suffering from Alzheimer’s and has wandered away from his caretakers.

Start to notice what your first thoughts are as you encounter people and see for yourself if maybe your perceptions are a bit screwed up. The truth is you don’t know all you think you know. To quote my associate “they don’t know that they
don’t know.” Your perceptions will give you a clue as to how much you are enlightened and how far you have to go to get to awareness. How much wood do you have to chop and how much water do you have to carry? If you want to lighten your load… be in a state of awareness of everything and everyone around you.
What are you thinking as you go about your day?

Now on to the chopping and carrying scenario…what is the before and after difference? Before… it took more effort to do whatever you had to do. It exhausted you and aggravated you more. You spilled a lot of water before you go to where you needed to be. There were a lot of splinters in your spirit from trying to do what you had always done.
The people who do not serve your greatest and highest good leave your life either through their own choice or yours. Your awareness is to recognize who these people are. Step by step you become enlightened. Spiritually you start to ascend. To ascend in its purest meaning is to rise up and that is exactly what happens. You start to go higher above human illusions of judgment and a pervasive feeling of being lost and not worthy. You start to make contact with your “higher self.” Your precious divine “higher self” is your soul. You become aware of all the beauty around you and start to enjoy the precious moments as they come. You realize that time is just another illusion. You start to appreciate and become grateful for everything. Your life just starts to work. The issues of the past start to fade. You learn the lessons and vow not to repeat them. After all, it has been said that the definition of insanity is doing the same dumb thing over and over again expecting a different result. I know I have done this many times in my life. I am sure if you think back with an open heart and honesty with yourself, you will see a pattern emerge of repeating the same issues in your life.

Before all this awareness and enlightenment you had to work, deal with problems,
take care of life and business and just generally do your human things. The big news is after you become a spiritual being and honor the God force within…you still have to work, deal with problems, and take care of life and business but you do it in a different more powerful way.

Most of you think that you will walk the spiritual path and that there are no problems to deal with because you have entered awareness. You have put all this work and intense study into becoming the spiritual being that you are and suddenly life is just one big “bliss party.” Life is life and such as it is…it will still present itself with issues. Every day and every moment is a growth process of ascension into the soul planes. Each time you enter into another level…life is truly better and more peaceful. Moments of joy are so intense that the hair rises up on your arms.
After… is totally different. You are grateful for the wood and the water. You are
clear and aware and you move through and beyond issues in a peaceful life affirming way.

You are grateful to be able to do what you have always done just differently. The load is lighter. You are in a state of peace. You spill less of your spiritual essence and there are a lot less splinters in your soul. You are able to speak your truth. You stop allowing people to take advantage of, abuse, lie to, cheat and disrespect you. Your human garden is being weeded. You start to bloom. You find creative outlets that you did not know you had. You feel physically better and sleep deeply. Life has become something beautiful. The restraints of life are not so tight anymore.

You are changing and life itself is changing. You stop feeling alone and lonely.
You have become one with the God within.

Enlightened means to know…not to guess at but to know. It is a place of profound knowledge. It is not the name of a town in Blissville. You can’t find it on your GPS.
The only way to know what this feels like and how it feels is to go within and make conscious contact with the God force that is in all of us.

Your choice…what are you going to do?
