The House Of The Soul.
If your deepest and most sacred place were a house, what would it look like? Would it be full of life and energy or would it look empty and lonely? Would hope and love be present or would fear bar the door?
Would be windows be dusty or would they be clear as pure water?
The soul is the inner house that abides everlasting and eternal. It is up to you what you put in the rooms and how you maintain it. This is one of the many mansions that is spoken of.
This is where the God of your heart resides and waits for you. The fire that flares up from time to time is the heat of God's presence calling you to go within and BE STILL. If the house needs repair God is waiting to help you bring it back to life.
How beautiful, I know when I get to heaven I will live forever in an older home, because I do have a deep compassion for those homes with all those memories. It makes me so sad to see a home go down to the point of no return, unused, forgotten, neglected when someone without a home could make that their home.
